Greetings everyone! So sorry about that craziness with 4-shared over the weekend. What a mess! The good news is that I won’t be using them anymore. Most of my freebies will be available via direct download, and the few that aren’t will be hosted over at MediaShare from now on!
So, I have a bunch of news and updates for you today!
First of all, there are two speed scraps coming up at Stuff to Scrap this week. Both have great templates for participation prizes.
First is tomorrow night with Steph of Scrappy Cocoa:
Check out her participation prize:
And Tuesday, Manda of Nibbles Skribbles is providing the participation prize while one of her CT members hosts!
Here is her participation prize:
Also this week, Scrappy Cocoa and Flower Scrap have teamed up to bring you a fabulous collab called Whimsy Flyte. I got to work with both portions being so lucky to be on their CT teams. On Thursday, Steph’s CT will be doing a brag book blog train with her portion of the kit! So stop back for that! Both of these are available in their stores right now!
Here is my layout with Steph’s portion:
And here is Steph’s preview (it is linked to her blog so you can get all the good details and links to her stores):

Alright! Finally – If your a customer in the Stuff To Scrap store, you should already been receiving weekly newsletters with new product announcements, sales, and layouts for inspiration, but we're taking it a step further. . .With a Quarterly Newsletter!
It will be packed full of goodies, sales, layouts galore and who knows, maybe a freebie or two. We can't wait to get this started. Simply go to the Stuff To Scrap Blog HERE and add your email address to our quarterly newsletter subscription service on the right hand side, and your good to go. You won't want to miss it! First one comes out in December! This will be so much more than the weekly newsletters!
(Is Awesomeness a word? Spell checker seems to think it’s OK! LOL! Guess it is.)
Have you shopped yet at my sale? Well, don’t wait too long! You’re going to want to take advantage of these great prices.
(Don’t forget there is a special treat on Monday’s post for my blog readers!)

And finally, I do have another freebie for you today. I wouldn’t leave you without some great goodie, would I? Today, I have a template for you. You know, I’ve been so busy lately getting things ready for the store, that I have revisited the joy of templates. They make it so easy to create a layout, yet they have incredible flexibility too. Don’t let a template make you feel boxed in. Try rotating it 90 degrees…..or use embellishments to make it uniquely yours. Here’s a look at the template you are getting. Remember, all freebies from my grand opening will be gone on September 1, so don’t delay.

Well, there is just one more day left of our grand opening party. I have another treat for you tomorrow, and you won’t want to miss it. See you then.
So, I love photo masks. And – thanks to Jessica Sprague, I recently fell in love with adding subtle texture to photos. So, I created this set of five basic photo masks with lightly grunged edges in a circle, oval, square, rectangle, and diamond shape. Then, I created a texture layer that can be blended with your photo for all kinds of interesting effects. This product is now in my store and is on sale through Sunday at 40% off!
Here’s the photo mask set, which is linked to my store! (The set also includes a PDF document with instructions for use!)
Take a closer look at what the texture can do for a photo. Here’s a close up of the mask with no texture added:
And here’s the same thing with the texture layer added on an Overlay setting:
Very cool! Play with the texture on your photos!
Sara, of my CT, made this awesome layout (which is also a sneak peek at something coming next week for you) using the Rectangle photo mask with the texture option from this set.
Of course! I do have a freebie for you too! I have the oval photo mask available for you to download free! (There is no texture option with this.) Here’s a look at the photo mask you are getting (note – this is a low res very small version).
