Some quick info and coming attractions!

Good morning! Just wanted to give you some quick news about two great sales coming up at Stuff to Scrap. And a little peak at the coming attraction I have for you this week!

First, get ready for an awesome store wide sale at Stuff to Scrap this week!

Next, my CT boss, Michelle, of Just for You Digi Scraps, is having her blogoversary and a "Buy My Store" sale. This is a great way to pick up a lot of awesome items for very little!

And a little later this week, I'm releasing a fabulous BUNDLE of products called Harvest Home. And there will be a great freebie for you as well for the upcoming Halloween holiday. You will love this entire bundle of products, and I'll be offering them at a great price for you! To get you a little excited, check out the colors this kit includes. You can see them in the cardstock below which will be one of the add-on items you can get in this bundle! I think the colors are a little different from the standard fall/autumn but with a really warm, homey feel. Wait until you see the full kit, alpha, word art, holiday add-ons, & worn papers too!

That's it for now! Keep watching for my new release and the freebie you can get with it!

Michelle’s Awesome New Kit and Remodeling!

Good evening all!  I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.  I just delivered my oldest son to summer camp for the week.  His first time ever.  I’m so excited for him!  I also want to mention that you may see me remodeling the blog a bit in the next week or two.  So, pardon my dust if something seems off!  I’ll get it right!

Michele at Just for You Digi Scraps has an awesome new kit for you this week called Serenity Garden.  I think it might be my favorite kit from her yet!  Here is a layout I made with it.  This is of a lovely spot in the road when we went on a private taxi tour through Jamaica.  The sun coming through the trees and ferns were just stunning.

Now, this kit is only available at Michelle’s store – Stuff to Scrap.  And it’s on sale this week for only $1.99.  Click the preview to head over there:

But Michelle hasn’t forgotten about all you freebie hunters.  Check out the add-on she is offering free on her blog this week.  You have to go back each day to her blog to pick up the various pieces, but it is well worth the trip!

Just click the add-on preview to head over to her blog.

Be sure to stop back later this week for some awesome stuff from Flower Scrap and Scrappy Cocoa.  I’ll also tell you what’s coming up next for me!

More awesome stuff! And Grandma’s House Elements!

OK, let’s get to it today, shall we! (Keep going to get to my freebie this week, Grandma’s House!)
Today, I want to share with you Michelle’s new kit, July 4th Picnic. It is a terrific red, white, and blue kit with lots of cute picnic and 4th of July elements. But you could use it for lots of patriotic type layouts like I did here.

And here is the full preview of Michelle’s kit. Click on it to head over to her blog, Just For You Digi Scraps and start downloading!

So, today for Grandma’s house, I want to show you what cute things you can do with it. My friend Chrissy made this awesome layout with it. She’ll even have a quick page for you on Thursday. Isn’t she just the greatest. Be sure to visit her blog at http://cahscraps.blogspot.com and leave her lots of love.

Isn’t that adorable!
Here is the preview again, and today you can click on it to head off and get the elements. Tomorrow, be sure to come back for the Word Art and Alpha, and on Thursday there will be a quick page or two for you!

Dear Old Dad

The other new kit I have to bring you this week is called Dear Old Dad from Michelle at Just For You Digi Scraps.  It’s another freebie that you can pick up this week only before it goes to her stores.

So, I practiced my extraction skills on my photos for this layout.  And, if I do say so myself, I don’t think they came out half bad.  I’m pretty excited.  I just finished the first lesson from Jessica Sprague and Now You’re Rocking, so when I get a few more things done, I’ll post more on that when I get back.

Anyway, here’s my layout with Michelle’s great new kit.  I also used a grunge brush on the green background paper from M Babic.  It’s the thing that looks like water rings.  It’s amazing what a little brush can add for texture to a layout.  I think it might be my new obsession!

Here is the preview to this really cute kit in honor of Father’s Day!

I’m actually on vacation this week.  I’m probably sitting on a lake fishing somewhere, relaxing and enjoying my family.  The kids are out of school now and it is the beginning of what I hope will be a wonderful summer.  It will probably be pretty quiet around here while I’m gone, but maybe when I get back I’ll be able to offer some freebies for you again!  Things have just been so busy, and I’ve just been loving the process of creating layouts lately.  So, I’m sorry I’ve neglected my freebie offerings, but I’m trying!

I don’t know that I’ll be back this week, so for now!  Have a wonderful start to your summer too!

Two Awesome New Kits

Did everyone have a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend!?  I did!  I got to go and visit old friends as well as see my niece graduate from high school.  Got me some great pics to scrap!!!!

But today, I have two terrific new kits from Just for You Digi Scraps and Flower Scrap.

First up is Tiffany, a kit from Michelle at JFYDS.  It has some great colors and patterns.  I scrapped this picture of my cousin’s little girl who is just the most adorable thing!

Here is the full kit preview, which you can pick up only at the Stuff to Scrap store.

Next is Deanna, Flower Scraps, new kit called Night Out.  It’s got a terrific “party” vibe with lots of bright vibrant colors and blacks for contrast.  This is a layout of some of my closest college buddies (one who I got to visit for the first time in years this weekend) when we were out one night!  I miss these guys so much!  Friendships really are important and even if you don’t get to see people too often, they still hold a special place in your heart.

Here is the full kit preview, and you can pick it up at One Single Seed or Stuff to Scrap.

That’s it for now.  I hope everyone has a great week, and keep checking back.  You’ll never know what awesome treats may be in store!

Going Places by Just for You Digi Scraps

So, the other kit I picked up from Just for You Digi Scraps while working on the OSS CT this month is called Going Places.  It is a completely awesome transportation themed kit with oranges, greens, blues and grays.  I love it.

Here are a couple of layouts that I did with it.

And here is the kit previews.  Click on it to head over to One Single Seed and pick it up!

Just For You Digi Scraps – Lots of Good Stuff!

So, Michelle has a new kit this week called Summer Come Soon.  It is filled with lots of fun summer themed elements like Beach balls, bikes, surf boards, and more.  Here is a layout I did with it of my hubby and son playing in the surf at Cocoa Beach, Florida back in 2007.

Go to her blog to download this fabulous kit now!

Well, I also am assigned to work with Michelle at One Single Seed, so I’ve selected a kit that she put out prior to my becoming a member of her CT.  It’s called Sugar Plum and is a really unique Christmas/Winter themed kit.  Check out this layout of my son sledding when he was a baby.

So, click on the kit preview below to head over to One Single Seed where you can pick up this fabulous kit.  It’s on sale right now!

A New Kit and an Oldie but Goodie

This month I get to be a guest CT for Nicole of Digi-Designs by Nicole.  How lucky am I???  This is also the month that her new store, Stuff to Scrap is opening on May 11.  I’ve been following Nicole since the beginning as an awesome designer, and joined up to her original forum almost immediately.  Now it’s grown into a new store with lots of great designers coming your way!

So, this week I got to work with her new collab with A Work In Progress (Vicki) called Darling Buds of May.  It’s just adorable.  Below is a layout of my oldest son and his cousins back in 2001.  Then, click on the full preview of Nicole’s portion to whisk off to her blog.  Be sure to pick it up soon before it is gone!

FlowerScrap and Michelle both took a well-deserved week off from designing.  But Michelle asked us to revisit our favorite older kits from her!  Plus – bonus for you – we each made a quick page with our layouts as well!

I loved Michelle’s kit, Comfort, so I jumped right in to work with it.  Here is a layout I did of my two boys actually acting as if they like each other.  LOL!

And here is a preview of your quick page download!  I removed the title so you could use this for anything you’d like!  I hope you enjoy.  Click the preview to download.

Here is the full preview of the kit. Be sure to head off to Michelle's blog by clicking on the preview below.

Next up, Deanna (Flower Scrap) has a great new kit only available in the One Single Seed store. It's called Memories of the Orient and it is one of the most unique kits I have seen in a long time. The colors are so rich and beautiful. (I know the preview shows the Stuff to Scrap emblem, but it won't be available there until later in May.) Here is a layout of a much younger me and my friend Angie at her wedding back in 1995! Yikes!

Great stuff from Michelle and Deanna

Being on vacation is hard work!  LOL!  I've had a blast and am heading home as I write this on Tuesday night.  However, I'm exhausted!  LOL!

While I've been getting to play in sunny Florida, Michelle and Deanna have been hard at work to bring you some great stuff.

First of all, Michelle (Just for You Digi-Scraps) has her first store exclusive kit called Think Spring.  It's available this week for 50% off over at One Single Seed.  I love this kit.  It has such unexpected but terrific colors.   I did a two page layout of my son Jacob's last day of Kindergarten.

And here is Michelle's preview...

Finally, Deanna has a new freebie this week called Get Hoppin'.  I haven't had a chance to make a layout with it yet, but hope to later this week.  I've been too busy having fun on vacation.  You can head to her blog and pick it up all week.
