An Award!

Nicole of Digi-Designs by Nicole was kind enough to award me the Premio Dardo Award.  I'm one of her forum moderators at her Digi-Designs by Nicole Forum.  A really great place to hang out and chat about digi-scrapping.  Plus there are some TERRIFIC challenges.  Check it out here.

The Premio Dardos award acknowledges the values that every blogger shows in their effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values every day. 

The rules are:  

1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person that has granted the award and his or her blog link. 

2) Pass the award to 15 other blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment. Remember to contact each of them to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

15 other blogs could be hard for me.  A lot of the people I know in Digi-Scrapping got the award from Nicole too!   Likely, I'm going to give this to some people who may not have heard of me before since I'm new to digi-scrapping.  Just know that if I'm giving you this award, I really do appreciate what you do!  So, in no particular order.

A Post of Firsts!

I have lots of exciting news to share today.  I just don't even know where to start!!!

First of all, I am just THRILLED to have been selected for Deanna's CT Team - Flower Girls.  She is a terrific designer, and just one of the nicest people I have met in Digi-Scrap land.  Her blog, http://flowerscrap.blogspot.com, is terrific, and she offers freebies regularly.  AND she just opened her first store at the new One Single Seed.  (http://www.onesingleseed.com/)  She is there with a bunch of other terrific designers that I love.  I'm really looking forward to spending time there, it looks like it will be a great community.

Deanna's newest kit is part of the ADSD blog train, and is called Hurry Up Spring.  I wish Spring would hurry up here in cold Wisconsin!  LOL!

I did this layout from Easter several years ago at our house.  An Easter where it was actually nice and warm here in Wisconsin! (Layout Sketch by Nocturne.)
