I had the amazing opportunity to offer designs for the first time as part a wonderful charity collab. My own family are members of our local YMCA and it is a terrific organization. I loved making my portion of the kit and I will be offering a freebie on Friday - an add-on mini kit- to go with it. Please stop back then.
Steph, designer of Scrappy Cocoa, spends much of her time volunteering for the YMCA. They are currently running their annual Partners With Youth Fundraiser. It is a yearly fundraiser that raises money to fund all sorts of great programs. These programs include summer camp, family retreats, scholarships for low income families, and homeless youth programs. The homeless youth program is awesome. The Y provides a place for the youth to come to on weekends to shower, get clean clothes and just hang out.
This program is 100% run by volunteers this means that $.95 of every dollar goes straight to the cause. It is an amazing program and it does amazing things for so many people.
